Workplace Mediation

Workplace disputes leafletMediation can be a constructive way to address issues that arise in the workplace.

Many conflicts in the workplace can be resolved without resorting to formal or legal processes, which can often be time-consuming and destructive to good working relationships. Disciplinary action may not be appropriate in many cases and may even make matters worse.

The organisation may suffer from:

  • Low morale and underachievement.
  • High staff turn over with increased absenteeism and general inefficiency.
  • The people involved could be feeling stressed and anxious and their ability to concentrate may be reduced.

The solution is to help all parties reach a realistic and workable outcome, hopefully resulting in a healthy and positive working environment.

Voluntary, Charity & Faith Groups

If, after mediation, management and/or staff members require external supervision or mentoring it may be worth trying Listening Matters who provide emotional and professional support for the third sector.
